Player Operations: Official
Coordinator, Operations (Entries) - WTA (St. Petersburg, FL)

Position Summary:

The WTA Operations department is responsible for a range of activities and initiatives that service the player and tournament memberships. This position is structured with responsibilities in Operations and is based out of the corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Operational Responsibilities:

·         Processes player entries, acceptances and withdrawals

·         Produces and distributes weekly tournament acceptance lists and final event summaries to event organizers and staff

·         Assists the Tour Supervisors and on-site staff with weekly Qualifying sign-in deadlines, including interpretation and implantation of rules

·         Maintains the WTA Special Ranking program, working with players and agents on entries, rules, collection of medical paperwork, tracking and overall administration

·         Tracking of Wildcards, Admin Fees, Fines and Player Medicals used

·         Responsible for the weekly setup of Live Scoring for WTA Events

·         Assists with special projects and research, including the following:

a.       Circuit Structure - Acceptance List modeling and upkeep

b.       Circuit Structure – Review of current Rules Procedures and annual rules process

Skills and Experience:

·         Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Sport Management/Administration) and/or bachelor’s degree with relevant tennis experience a must

·         Works well within a team/collaborative environment

·         Analytical review of a situation with comprehensive understanding of rules/policies and environment to implement rules/make decision

·         Possesses excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and trust with players, agents, staff and tournament personal

·         Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy and time management

·         Fluent in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)

·         Multi-lingual preferred

Graphic Design Internship - WTA Tour (St. Petersburg, FL)

Position Summary: 
Based in St. Petersburg, FL, the Creative Services Graphic Design Intern is responsible for producing creative materials for the WTA. Responsibilities include collaborating with and assisting the Graphic Design Team in developing and producing all WTA corporate branding and creative designs, including but not restricted to sales, marketing, digital marketing, communications and advertising content (print, video, and web). This internship is paid and the schedule will be 20 hrs/week for up to 6 months or 40 hrs/week for 3 months.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and produce print, video and web materials and original graphics for WTA and its members with emphasis on sales, marketing, advertising and promotional materials, presentations, digital graphics, and UI/UX.
• Conceptualize and produce creative designs for WTA events, invitations, collateral, presentations and special projects that integrate brand messaging and style guidelines
• Execute design and production for identity development, corporate collateral, advertising and digital design that support strategic objectives
• Blend photography, imagery, charts, text and multimedia elements to create high-impact proposals, presentations and reports
• Video editing, including use of animation graphics, to support digital media team is a plus
• Copywriting
• Implement organizational skills to coordinate multiple graphic projects within scope, quality, time and budget of each project
• Meet aggressive deadlines for design/production without sacrifice of quality

Ideal Experience and Traits
• The candidate must be recently graduated or currently enrolled in school; Preferably University Education in Graphic Design or similar field
• Marketing, Advertising or Design Agency experience is a plus
• Strong experience with business software such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong experience in Creative Cloud - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
• Final Cut Pro or Premiere experience is a plus
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge is a plus

The successful candidate will be directly involved in analysis, planning, development and execution of the WTA's Operations. They will support the Operations team by managing the Tournament Zone website, collecting weekly data from Tournaments, and providing assistance on key projects that support the strategic initiatives of the WTA. Job Title: Sr. Manager, Partnerships

Summary: The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Director, Partnerships. Duties will include: developing creative concepts; developing sales pitch/presentation materials; research and ideation; pro-forma development and support sponsor servicing support when required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Research and identify new prospects and potential sponsors' businesses to understand their marketing objectives
• Work with the Creative Services team to create partnership presentations, proposals and other materials to generate new revenue 
• Managing and optimizing our clients' campaigns
• Create pro-forma reports for potential contracts 
• Manage and provide appropriate research data for business development efforts
• Project-manage timelines & asset submissions
• Support global sales team at client/agency meetings 
• Ability to interface with multiple WTA departments (i.e. marketing, communications, digital, etc.) and effectively provide integrated solutions for potential and existing sponsors
• Work with the Partnerships team managers to enhance current partnership activation and programs, identify new net revenue opportunities, and provide additional value for the partnerships 
• Assist in the partner renewal process by understanding current sponsor business objectives and KPIs to generate maximum ROI, ROO and results
• Work with creative services to appropriately present creative ideas and concepts to management, players, tournaments and potential partners
• Identify current trends in the industry and incorporate these ideas and concepts into new and existing partnership proposals

Desired skills and background:
• Bachelor's degree in sports management, business administration or related field.
• A minimum of 5 - 7 years previous experience in sales, sponsorship, brand marketing, account management or advertising
• Experience in partnership development or marketing in sports/entertainment is preferred
• Excellent communication skills (written & presentation) 
• Creative and innovative thinker 
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work as part of a team yet self-motivated and can work independently

Position Summary: 
This internship will be paid and is expected to last for approximately 26 weeks at 40 hours per week. Duties include but are not limited to:

Position Summary
Position is a paid internship with tentative dates of September 2017 through December 2017 (Fall Semester). The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to observe and participate in all aspects of the Sports, Science and Medicine within a worldwide professional sports organization. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Medical data entry into Sutton Electronic (ARMS) documentation system
• Medical data review for research purposes/ collection
• Review, scan and organize R&D articles (journal articles, research papers, etc.)
• Assist with tournament supply coordination
• Assist with various projects, including but not limited to programs in exercise, nutrition, physicals, athlete care, orthotics and equipment
• Assist with research and presentation materials
• Assist in production of player education materials

Minimum Qualifications
• Obtaining or recently obtained degrees in Statistics, Health Information Systems, Analytics, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Medical Documentation preferred
• Athletic training background preferred, but not required
• Medical documentation background preferred, but not required
• Computer literate with electronic documentation skills
• Experience with tennis and/ or "individual" skills
• Interest to increase medical documentation skills
• Strong computer skills
• Good academic standing
• Ability to multi-task
